Business Development Manager – Strauss Coffee International
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly capable Business Development Manager to serve as the strategic and operational link between Strauss Coffee’s operations in Brazil and Strauss Group’s senior management in Israel. This role requires strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to navigate cross-cultural and international business environments.
The position includes ongoing communication with senior stakeholders, leading meetings, analyzing business performance, and identifying strategic growth opportunities, including partnerships and investments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between 3C (Strauss JV in Brazil) and Strauss Coffee management.
• Lead business discussions and present strategic recommendations.
• Analyze financial reports and P&L performance regularly.
• Facilitate ongoing communication, reporting, and alignment between teams.
• Identify and evaluate new business development opportunities, including M&A and strategic partnerships.
• Travel frequently to Brazil to meet with local leadership and key business partners.
Experience Required:
• Full professional fluency in Portuguese (native level – strong advantage)
• Deep familiarity with the Brazilian market
• Strong financial background, including experience with P&L and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or finance roles with a strategic angle
• Background in international consulting firms, private equity, or global companies with operations in Brazil – strong advantage
• Relevant academic background (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Accounting); MBA – an advantage
