We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Warranty Engineer to join our international team in Jerusalem. This role involves managing the warranty requirements for the new CAF URBOS trams, ensuring the operational performance, availability, and reliability of the fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing corrective maintenance, and leading a team of technicians to maintain the fleet in compliance with the maintenance plan.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Warranty Technicians in the performance of corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and repairing components.

Work on a wide range of systems, including traction control, gearboxes, brake systems, HVAC, pantographs, electrical equipment, and complex cab control systems.

Utilize electrical schematics, diagnostic software, test equipment, and hand tools to identify and resolve faults in the trams.

Perform fault analysis, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure the equipment is in full compliance with the warranty requirements.

Write technical reports, document issues, and provide consultation to the Warranty Manager regarding defect analysis and corrective actions.

Follow work instructions, company guidelines, customer specifications, and internal policies.

Collaborate with the Warranty Manager to ensure the successful operational performance and timely resolution of issues for the entire fleet.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in after-sales service, industrial maintenance, or a similar technical field. Experience in the railway sector is an advantage, though candidates with backgrounds in industrial, maritime, or aviation sectors are also encouraged to apply.

Proven experience in troubleshooting and fault-finding within complex systems (electrical, mechanical, and electronic).

Familiarity with diagnostic software, test and measuring equipment, and root cause analysis techniques.

Experience in leading or managing maintenance or warranty teams.

Valid driver’s license and availability for shift work (if needed).

Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
