CAF S.A. Is an international group of Rail, Transportation, and Infrastructure companies with over 100 years of activity and more than 15,000 employees around the world.

CAF’s Corporate Headquarters are in Spain (Beasain) and the company’s shares are traded in the Madrid Stock Exchange (BME).

CAF provides comprehensive Design, Build, Operation, Maintenance, Retrofit and Finance of Transportation projects, including all kinds of Rolling Stock, Systems, Signaling and components.

CAF Israel Ltd. was founded in November 2019 after the award of the JNET concession in Jerusalem, in partnership with SHAPIR - our local Civil Works partner. This project, tendered by the Israeli Ministry of Finance and by JTMT, includes the extension of the existing Red Line and its Retrofitting; The Design and Build of the new Green Line; The Operation of both lines for 15 years and their Maintenance for 25 years, and Project Financing.

In January 2022 CAF and SHAPIR were awarded with another concession project in Israel –The Tel Aviv Purple Line, tendered by NTA, which includes Design, Build, Finance, and 25 years of Maintenance.

CAF Israel Ltd. is already employing ~100 employees from Israel, Spain and from several other countries. CAF is bidding for additional Rail Public Transportation projects; It keeps growing and moving towards changing and improving the transportation industry in Israel. CAF aims to be the main rail partner of the Israeli metropolises.
